Unfortunately for sellers and Realtors alike, several  individuals in the Tulsa area attempt to be involved in this field of real estate without the proper credentials. 

In Oklahoma you must be a broker that is properly licensed by the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission in order to engage in any type of property management.

We urge our fellow Realtors, homeowners, and potential home managers to check the credentials of any company offering  a service similar to ours.  The Oklahoma Real Estate Commission phone number is 405-521-3387.  Ask about the trade name and broker.  The commission exists for the purpose of protecting the public.  It is there for you.  Please call them before you engage the services of a property manager.  Also, please call the number for the broker and ask to speak personally with that person.  If this is not a relatively simple process then BEWARE!  Please take the time to do this as it will be to your benefit and protection.
